Lost a tire on the wheel, it is dangerous to drive the car?
I'm generally no idea when it comes to cars. I a 1998 Nissan Altima GXE. Yesterday, I found that the wheel Cover (trim) of my right front wheel was missing. As the holiday season, no shop is open in the small people living in western Massachusetts. I know nothing about cars and am not sure if it is dangerous to drive the car like that. Is this a sign that some in the mechanical drive may have gone wrong, or just a cosmetic thing? I have a trip scheduled to arrive in a couple of days, not to lose the wheel all while I'm driving as the airport is one hour. Or are there other concerns I should know? I'm also the outdoor park at the airport for a couple of weeks. Is the wheel to be affected by climate without the wheel cover? Thank you!
